The story of an idea born alongside some of the finest Champagne houses, and a simple conviction: a memory should never fade.
Our story
My name is Hugo Gonera. Born and raised in Champagne, I grew up close to the vines and to the work of the houses that built the region's reputation. I later worked within several of them, where I noticed a recurring need: visitors wanted to leave with a tangible memory of their visit, beyond the bottle itself.
I also noticed that many exceptional bottles, opened for a wedding, a birth or a celebration, ended up forgotten on a shelf once empty. Éclats de Champagne was born from these two observations.
From the workshop to today
I founded Éclats de Champagne at 19, in the family garage. The principle: carefully break the bottle, hand-compose its shards of glass, then set them in resin to recreate its silhouette, fully customisable to your wishes.
Now settled in my own workshop in Jonchery-sur-Vesle, I make every frame by hand, and work with several of the most respected Champagne houses in the region.
What guides every frame
Every frame is made here, in Champagne, in keeping with a craft and a heritage that taught me everything.
No bottle is broken lightly. Every shard finds its place by hand, with the same care given to each piece.
A wedding, a birth, a victory: I don't craft objects, I bring memories into the light.
